The Video Workshop (Fabrikvideo) at the Rote Fabrik is a resource center for video projects.

It supports and assists low budget and non-commercial video productions in the areas of art, society and culture.
Fabrikvideo rents out equipment for video editing, offers courses and technical advice and support.
Fabrikvideo puts its spacious premises at your disposal, e.g. the common lounge.

The video editing studios are accessible 24/7.

You will receive a key to the studio and gain access to the large common lounge. Free 1.5 hours technical introduction and assistance with the video editing equipment during our office hours: Tuesday 10.00 am - 1.00 pm and Thursday 5.00 pm - 8.00 pm.

Editing programs:

Final Cut Studio (including Motion, Soundtrack Pro), DVD Studio Pro.
Final Cut Studio is a Macintosh-based editing system. It offers aperture effects, image correction, audio tracks, and graphics and title functions.

Hourly rate: CHF 10.00
Daily rate: CHF 100.00 (10 hours maximum)

We can grant a rebate for longterm and under-financed projects.

Small classes for efficient learning

Fabrikvideo offers classes in:

The classes are tought by teachers who work with video professionally. Small groups guarantee efficient learning.

Groups over three people can choose individual class dates and contents.
