I am very much interested in the concept of cities and how they represent a collage of lives and destinies of their residents and visitors. I started a project consisting of parallel texts and portraits in which I made five interviews with different people about their lives and work and the most important landmarks in work, marriage, studies and relationships. Every interview was displayed with its corresponding visual imagery, which was inspired by the interview itself. Five people were interviewed in Cairo and other similar interviews were made in Spain, Morocco and Hungary.

During my residency and while getting acquainted with the Swiss daily life, I would like to perform a similar project. Finding and defining the similarities and differences between people in multiple cultures and creating a visual vision of these concepts would be a valuable addition to my project. I would like to compare the lives of people who live in the Middle East, were there are many political, religious and social problems and issues, with the lives of people in other different parts of the world who have their own significant concerns.
