Talking Politics
Discussions and debates on current political issues
Talking Politics (Fabrikgespräche) was launched in 2006 as a series of political debates. It is hosted by the Rote Fabrik Cultural Center and the weekly newspaper WOZ.
On a regular basis, issues of the current political agenda are discussed in public. The first part of the event consists of a lecture or a panel, the second part is dedicated to a discussion in the audience. The events are open to everyone who takes an interest in current socio-political topics. No previous or expert knowledge is required to participate.
The Rote Fabrik is one of the few institutions in Zurich that hosts political debates on a regular basis. The series Fabrikgespräche represents the longterm commitment of both the Rote Fabrik Special Events Group and the WOZ to keep a lively political debate going while reflecting on current issues.
